Our Story

Rooted in Khandesh,
Competitive Across the World

Established in 2008 under the visionary Poojya Sane Guruji Vidya Prasarak (PSGVP) Mandal, the K. V. Patel College of Agriculture is named in honour of the Late Shri. K. V. Patel. It stands as a living tribute to the Mandal's 50-year mission of bringing quality higher education to the rural and tribal communities of North-West Maharashtra.

Situated in the fertile Tapti Valley between the Satpuda ranges and the Gomai and Susari rivers, our 200-acre integrated campus is more than an institution — it is a promise of progress for the Khandesh region. With MPKV Rahuri affiliation and an ICAR-aligned curriculum, we shape students into "Global Agricos" — professionals with the scientific knowledge to transform India's agricultural future.

Institutional Overview

A Legacy of Service Since 1969

The Mandal has grown a broad educational ecosystem across the rural and tribal belt of Shahada and Nandurbar.

🏫

About PSGVP Mandal

Poojya Sane Guruji Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Shahada was established in 1969 under the Public Trust Act to provide quality higher education in the rural and tribal belt of Shahada and Nandurbar. It grew under founder president Late Shri. Annasaheb P. K. Patil and continues to serve farmers, tribal learners, and socially and economically backward communities.

The ecosystem spans arts, science, commerce, engineering, polytechnic, ITI, pharmacy, education, and agriculture — a campus of roughly 250 acres, with 125 acres dedicated to the College of Agriculture.

🌱

Our Institute

P.S.G.V.P. Mandal's K. V. Patel College of Agriculture was established in 2008 to educate, motivate, and uplift the vocational skills of young people from farming and landless-worker families.

Instruction is delivered through dedicated agriculture-science departments and extensive practical, farm-based learning across the college's living-laboratory campus.
